Humans have tail-like structures until the 6th week of gestation. All sorts of things can happen for a child to be born with a tail, all of them related to embryonic development. First, you're not a wolf, you don't live in a pack, and you don't go out with your family to track prey. There are no "alpha or beta" humans. There are men who are confident and men who fret over things like "am I a beta?"
