It's not recently but.. The idiots that make up a website and try and get cute with the fonts and the font colors... You can't read the damn text when you have a black background and the font is blue... Who approves this crap? It's got to be some maniac...
Also when you zoom in on a map to see the street name and as you zoom in the text gets smaller!!! And no bubble window to see the street name. Another maniac...

Stupid people that don't know what a yield sign means. A vehicle in the left lane next to me and nearly got in a wreck about an hour ago.

Between Obamacare and COVID, the medical industry, including big pharma, has been exposed big time. The don't want to "cure" anything. They want you on a lifetime regimen or treatment and meds that keep the cash register ringing.

Property tax. Literally theft. You basically can never own anything.

I get pissed off at the number of people that pull out in front of me. I then get pissed at people who take forever to get moving when the light turns green.

I try my best to roll with the punches and keep a positive attitude about my damned self instead of letting little shite get to me...
Smoke something...

Between the entitlement mentality of a sizeable number of Medicate Recipients and providers who view such patients as ATM machines and do all manner of tests and procedures and write all sorts of prescriptions that are not needed and have negative effects on those patients its a wonder anyone can get into see most providers.
We spend a good bit of time taxiing my father to doctors. I would bet IF someone was minding the store, so to speak, at least half of the visits and tests and procedures and prescriptions would suddenly become unnecessary.
A case in point. My dad has had prostate cancer 3 times. Actually once and it has recurred twice since initial treatment. He was diagnosed initially in his early 50s and is now 84 so its been about 30 years. The last treatment was a freezing technique - I do not know what it is called but he was in a great deal of pain for about 2 years and manageable pain for a year or so, bladder spasms and shooting pain which manifested itself in his back because that's more or less where kidneys live...not a good situation. About a year into this he was referred to a pain management clinic for pain associated with prostate cancer treatment. That is an important bit of information. They began treatment with steroid shots in his spine. Keep in mind none of us are medical professionals so we asked about this. They told us it may alleviate the pain he was experiencing. We took them at their word. They did this every month for about 8-9 months. It did nothing for him. We asked about it every month, when it might start helping, and were told it was a cumulative procedure and may work immediately and may take months or years. We finally told them it was not working and something else was needed if there was anything else. At that point they told us the treatment was NEVER meant to alleviate his bladder pain, it was meant to alleviate his back pain. Thats all well and good except he had never, in 80+ years, complained of back pain, anymore than anyone else, certainly not to the point that he would have sought treatment. They had done this procedure at least 6 times and it was never needed or indicated. During this period they started in with how they could help his knee and hip pain. Again, the issue here is he never had any knee or hip pain, not to a point that he ever asked about it. They brought it up. By the time they told us the treatments he was receiving would do nothing for his bladder pain they had convinced him that his knees and hips hurt. They did not, he never complained about it, but he became convinced he needed knee and hip replacement. Everyone he knows has had it done, surely he needed it also. I convinced him that the recovery would be as bad as anything he had experienced with knee and hip pain because he simply would not accept that never having experienced abnormal knee and hip pain was no reason not to have them replaced. The idea of surgery and physical therapy was daunting enough to bring him to his senses. The clinic was NOT happy - They had set the wheels in motion, referring him to an orthopedic surgeon who had scheduled the surgeries...4 of them....over a 12 month period. Major surgery which was not needed. The clinic. sensing a fish was getting away, convinced him that injections in his knees might help...help alleviate pain which never existed. He was not open to my suggestion that, since he had never complained of knee pain they probably did not need treatment. Keep in mind he is in his 80s. Of course his knees and hips hurt occasionally...but he is very active and the occasional knee and hip pain had never slowed him down. not a bit. He and the clinic were adamant. He is a grown man, sound in mind and body. It was his decision to make, no one else would know how debilitating what pain he did have was, although I know him pretty well and know that his tolerance for pain is almost non-existent, he has, all my life, been known as a "big baby" anytime he was hurt or sick. Had he been experiencing joint pain that was not tolerable my experience with him would indicate that everyone willing to listen would have known about it....no one did. They have been doing that procedure almost monthly for a year now. Last week they did it and he has been nearly bed-ridden since and has had to be transported to the ER twice because of swelling and severe knee pain.
This is not isolated. Every waiting room we go to in the middle of the week and middle of the day is FULL of people his age. They are in their 80s, they are not going to feel like they're in their 20s again, yet there they are, seeking relief from what amounts to being fortunate enough not to die before they got old. Its understandable, but the providers are simply fleecing the system. There is nothing that can be done for most of those people and their complaints, but by god they have insurance and they're going to find a doctor who promises youth and vigor again and damn the expense. I spend a lot of time talking to those patients. The sense of entitlement is universal....and they are QUICK to tell you that it is not costing them ANYTHING...which of course it is not, at least not much out of their pockets....but its costing their kids and grandkids and neighbors a fortune. And the providers are making some serious bank....their offices are PALATIAL....like a 5 star motel lobby. It is truly disgusting and all parties, myself included for not being more adamant that he is wasting money that someone may actually need, are to blame.

Mavis "tire" people didn't put my center cap on correctly after fixing a flat tire. It disappeared somewhere down the road. Had to pay $50 for a replacement.
It's not about the money. It's about people who work at a tire place who can't handle even the simplest task.
