It's a nice town, pretty close to the mountains in arkansas, lots of art deco buildings downtown, arkansas river that flows through town, lots of good breweries and one of the best public parks I've ever visited called "Gathering Place".

If he has/wants kids “the gathering place” may be the coolest park in America.

Honestly I don’t know about Tulsa but would live in Owasso or Collinsville to the north easy. I like the area.

They’ve got great bbq, Blue Bell factory, and good neighborhoods.

When I was on the road for work, it was the only city that had a lot of dispensaries everywhere but no homeless that I noticed anywhere in town.

It was also the only city that I noticed where I saw kids playing until the street lights came on still.

Lots of mega churches.

They use to have a decent New Orleans restaurant that had leidenheimer bread and everything. But it closed.

They love Cajun food, I did see Herbert’s advertising their products at meat markets on the side of the road.

Like most cities get a nice place in the burbs. Good golf and short drive to lots of good outdoor stuff. The ghetto parts are really ghetto.

100% accurate.

The burbs of Tulsa are some of the best burbs in the country.

Well, for one thing, her last name is Gabbard, not Oklahoma, and President Trump has nominated her to be Director of National Intelligence in his cabinet.

It’s not exclusive, just takes money. It’s a fairly young membership and there are a lot of activities. Very nice practice area and dining area. It does get crowded, though, which sucks for a 6 figure initiation.

pretty exclusive per Oklahoma standards and while some young members, mostly an older, established membership group.

Practice facilities are insane. Indoor performance center and separate 3-hole short game area with greens that match 3 holes on the championship course.

Insane clubhouse, particularly the men's grill and locker room.

Food overall is mid.

Gets a lot of guest play but never crowded.

Night Trips was a fun place back in 2008-2010 when I’d go there for training. Fell in love with an out of this world arse one night.

Oddly enough... Tulsi Gabbard either is or was a Lt. Colonel in the National Guard and was the battalion commander in Tulsa OK at one time. Not sure if she still holds that position.

I'm not a vet so I hope I said things right. A buddy of mine was joking about Tulsi/Tulsa a few weeks ago when Trump picked her for her cabinet position.

Oklahoma seems to have quite a few things going for it. Primarily its relatively inexpensive.

Nice town. I lived there for two years. Housing prices are relatively good. Winters are cold, but not frigid. Summers are hot as balls though. Overall, 7.5/10.

Underrated city. Hills green lakes and rivers. Lower COL. Lots of new development going on. Well ran state government. Definitely get 4 seasons with a definitive fall season that we seem to get very little of further south. Summers are less harsh than the gulf south but make no mistake it does get warm.

Bonus: it’s close to Fayetteville so you can make it for LSU games when the Tigers are in town. Norman is down the road as well for the same reason.

OKC has more going on overall but Tulsa is nicer naturally with the topography. Tulsa has some excellent lakes nearby.

Yes please keep pushing that narrative. Keep it under populated. Let everyone keep overcrowding Texas and leave Oklahoma undiscovered.

Serious note, Eastern Oklahoma is really nice much like NW Arkansas. Just lacks economic opportunity like much of rural America.
