Lived in houma for 18+ months. Loved it. Great food and better people. That being said, when I had an opportunity to leave, it took me less than a day to decide to transfer. No desire to ever live there again. But I still visit all the time and enjoy it.

Early 90s. Sorry, that’s as specific as I’ll get on an anonymous message board.

Yeah there a decent chance we know each other. For sure you know one of my siblings. They all graduated mid to late 90s.

Houma. Morgan City's less-accomplished big brother.

I no longer live in Memphis but I’d go back there in a heartbeat before Houma or NOLA. It is far from perfect but not nearly as bad as it’s reputation.

Terrebonne, early 90s, new plenty of your boys, even played baseball for Coastal Insurance, haha! Coincidentally, I run with a group of your guys in Lafayette that are a couple years older than me, didn’t know any of them back then, met one in college and been running with that crew ever since.

Uhh. No way homeboy. Morgan Shitty is far and away worse than Houma. Possibly one of the worse towns in LA.

have lived there
Everything tied to oil industry
Most expensive housing in the state
Live only on the west side
Nothing, I mean nothing to do there except hunt and fish
If you like to fish you are in heaven

Lots of oil money and banks in town, Money is good as long as the oil industry is kicking

People come and go in Houma do to the nature of oil bidness

HLB had a great English department through at least the late 90's. That sentence construction has Ellender written all over it.
