Tai Kuo also owned Imperial Tennis club over by Barry's. My dad played tennis there a bunch. Nice club for Houma at that time.

Not to get too far off topic, if I recall there was even a man from the Dularge area that knew about aliens or had something to do with Roswell or Area 51.

Major Jesse Marcel from Bayou Blue is the guy you are thinking of. He was the Air Force investigator at the Roswell crash. He is in that famous picture with the weather balloon parts.

His son, Dr. Jesse Marcel, wrote some books about it.

I got a good one for you. David Ferrie and cohorts raided a Schumberger explosives bumper on the airbase in the 60’s. Some said the CIA was involved and that the explosives were intended to be used at The Bay Of Pigs. They eventually wound up on the Northshore at a training camp. I remember reading about it. They also had a lot of smuggling in the area during the 70s 80s 90s that I “heard “about.

AJ Breaux

He owned the Sunrise Fried Chicken joints, he definitely had money. His son was like a piece of Furniture in La Casa and Yesterdays, always in there.

Wrong Breaux. I believe A.J. was a salesman at a men's clothing store on Main St. But you are right about the chicken chain owner's son.

Didn’t he work for “Earls” on Main Street? I used to buy OP clothes there as a kid.

Where do you get this? My wife works for Ocshner. She loves it and a lot of the people I've met at the Christmas parties and coworkers around really like it. I've seen them do some great things to take care of their employees where they really didn't need to and went above and beyond.

Roswell legacy is ok. His telling of the night of the crash is the best part.

All these people saying live in Thibodaux have Houma penis envy. Seriously, Thibodaux is 30% NSU and 70% wishing they had what Houma has. There is only one restaurant worth going to and that's Fremin's. Want to go see a new movie? Houma. Want to go shopping? Houma.
