You would take HWY 90 to 310 then I10

Or you could stay on 90 and go Huey P or Westbank

There’s 3 different ways to get to NOLA from Houma.

Trust me, I know. Until the parade ends on that side of town or at the very end. Then the drunks pile in

For a long time it was the only Mexican restaurant in Houma. Now there are a few other chain options but they all suck.

What do you mean? I drive between New Orleans and Houma everyday. I know exactly how long it takes to get from one place to the other.

Eta: and that’s even stopping at Franks or Spahrs on my way home

They had a big arse house on Ouiski Bayou with a little guesthouse in the back. Their dad would let me sleep out there so that I wouldn't have to drive all the way back to BR. Little did he know his daughter used to sneak out and come into the guesthouse and ride my dick.

A few years later she moved to New Orleans to go to Loyola. Not sure how she got admitted considering she was dumb as a box of rocks. Anyway she had a apartment overlooking St. Charles Ave. Used to drive down there and we'd get drunk in the Quarter, then take the streetcar back to her apartment and frick. One morning we're both buck naked in her bed and the door opens. It's her parents, coming to check up on her because apparently her dad called about her grades and was told she wasn't going to class and was failing all her classes. He pushed me up against the wall and threw me out. They threw my clothes off the balcony and I got in my car and rolled out.

The next week I was right back down there smashing her again. She flunked out and ended up at Nicholls, then moved to Arizona. Flew out there 3x over 18 mos., and she'd come visit me anytime she came home to visit her parents. Funny thing is she invited me to her parents' Christmas party, and when I went her parents had no idea that I was the same guy who used to sleep in their guesthouse, and who they had thrown out of her apartment in N.O.

For a while I thought I'd end up marrying her... just wasn't meant to be, I guess. I was just naive to think that I was the only guy she was banging.

As far as getting to NOLA from Houma in 40 minutes Im calling VS. takes me 35 minutes to get to 310/I-10, 40 minutes to get to Huey. P and 50 minutes to get to CCC from my house and I'm 12 miles closer to NOLA.

yep.

he’d always help the coaches at practice too.

strap a flat wood board to your hand instead of a glove and then smash grounders at us for hours.

come home all bruised to shite, but we were a damn good fielding team for those years he was involved.

they named one of the fields after him a few years ago.
nice gesture, but he’d be PISSED if he saw what those fields look like now.

FTR in my initial post in this thread I posted 45 min. And yes. I can make it to Uptown Nola from the Houma/Racland 182 Exit in 45 min with light traffic.

That area is a madhouse. When I moved all that was swamp and Savanne rd was shell. The old drive in was where the Rouses is now and we only had Ciro’s back then.

Ok, I went to high school with her and her long time boyfriend at the time, played baseball with him too.

Dated K once, had to interview for that date, and provide references, so yeah, one and done, didn’t want any part of pops and his shite, haha!

That dude was a piece of work, ran us off his property a few times riding 3 wheelers, that’s when they were building that house and it was a short cut to the railroad tracks

Don’t who her bf was in HS, but he fricked up her head big time. She told me plenty of abuse stories.

Didn’t know him well enough to defend him, but I think he was in with pops so I don’t doubt he used that to his advantage. Common story.

But congrats on the time you spent with P, that girl was nice to look at, lol! I think she works with models now or pageant contestants, something like that
