He might be referring to Judge Seeber or St. Claude or the Green Bridge...

We're the type of place that, because we made it to the semifinals of the basketball state tournament this week, everyone who ever played is posting their old pics on facebook from when they played...

Also everything is the city of NOLA's fault...

It is a SJW and white liberal Mecca.
It did not flood during Hurricane Katrina. It just so happens on the same day they were washing the buildings and streets to clean the horriable smog from the big bad trucks.
It has safe spaces on every corner and Judge Perez was named after a guy who built safe spaces for SJW's.
People will say there is a refinery but it is really the Judge Perez Cotton Candy and pixy dust factory.
They have a Starbucks disguised as sheriff substations on each entrance into Da Parish.
The only problem is space is limited so all you SJW's need to hurry up, jump
In your Honda Prius, and come on down to buy or rent all the properties in the SJW Meeca. If you hurry up and act now we will throw in what some people call drug dealers but we call them Pixy dust distributors.

I have to agree and disagree about the women...

There seems to be a Goldilocks zone with the women, catch them at the right age 18-21 and they're something special. After marriage/children/drop out of college they wilt away like a banana peel.

Oh and they obliterated Slidell after Katrina.

Tue story
I was there long ago (pre Katrina) and got done with what I was doing early so I decided to stop there to grab a few doughnuts for my aunt who I was then going to visit. The guy in front of me in line said "I'll have 2 dollars worth of glazed, please."
Never heard doughnuts ordered quite like that.

Pretty sure Chalmette is connected to the lower 9th by Claude and Seeber.

It's not that bad. As people are getting priced out new orleans and don't want to deal with Metairie or the Northshore property values are increasing
Especially in old arabi and Meraux.

In 1814 we took a little trip along with Col. Jackson down the mighty Mississip. We took a little bacon and we took a little beans and we caught the bloody British in the town of New Orleans.

Its not, those bridges connect the upper and lower 9, but you think SBSO would have worried about that during Katrina?

Was a great place to grow up in during the 70s.
Mardi Gras in da parish was much more enjoyable than nola. It was a lot like tailgating except with all day parades.

Nice small town environment just minutes away from the big city. Fishing and hunting in your own back yard.

Low crime.

Traffic didn't really get bad until the parish started to outgrow the infrastructure. a lot like AP is doing.

As kids we rode bicycles everywhere, didn't have to be armed to do so.

It's not even remotely the same place since Katrina. A lot of folks moved in during the rebuilding and never left.A lot of folks( me included) left and didn't return.

Still have a lot of friends and family down there so i go back to visit a lot.

The high school is pretty impressive. The fact that the school was back in action 6 months after katrina is pretty remarkable.
