Cannabis Use Linked to Epigenetic Changes
The end result is change.
Cannabis Use Linked to Epigenetic Changes
quote:
Multiple epigenetic changes associated with cannabis use had previously been linked to things like cellular proliferation, hormone signaling, infections, neurological disorders like schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders.
quote:
Epigenetic changes occur when chemical marks are added or removed from DNA or the proteins that package DNA into chromatin. These marks can turn genes on or off, or they can influence how actively a gene is expressed. The collection of all epigenetic marks in a cell is called the epigenome.
The end result is change.

What does this have to do with anything?

What? There are several epigenetic processes.

It's way more fun to think about how dudes on here are scared of the Covid shot but have kids running around with partial DNA from an entire Sigma Nu pledge class.

So how long before women start taking to court every man who blew a load in them and getting DNA tests done on them and their child in order to get child support from several men

It takes a village.

It is possible for a woman to have twins and each have a separate father but that’s not this. However if anyone wants to do human testing on the subject that would be the situation most likely to prove it.

This study investigated the possibility of telegony in fruit flies by mating females to two different males and analyzing the DNA of the offspring. The researchers found that some of the offspring had genetic material from both males, even though the second male did not sire the offspring. This suggests that sperm from a previous mate can influence the development of offspring, even if the sperm does not fertilize the egg.
That's bananas

My kids do resemble Jeff Bezos a bit, so maybe there’s a shot, need to keep an eye on this research.

Don't know if it was stated in the thread, but both examples show the second male not sireing the offspring. So the only time this applies is if a pregnant female receives another males sperm. Not that someone's kids have previous partners traits.

Telegony= chicks absorb the sperm of previous dudes they screw and those traits show up later in some other dude’s offspring.
This, just on its face, sounds like a whole heaping pile of bullshite.

This is why men are genetically predisposed to date non promiscuous women. It's not that they are misogynistic, dating a non promiscuous woman is an easy way to protect men from things like paternity fraud and divorce. It's a survival instinct.
The survival instinct was about venereal disease, for which there was no cure.

on contact between spermatozoa and fluids of the female genital tract, those fluids wash way the inhibitory factors that suppress sperm in the male genital ducts. Second, once entering the female genital tract, those spermatozoa lose the reserve of free-floating cholesterol vesicles which strengthen the acrosome. As they swim toward the uterine cavity, that excess cholesterol is lost, exposing sperm, which are coated with alkaline fluid from the seminal vesicles and the prostate gland, to the extremely acidic secretions of the female genital tract.
Oh yeah, I forgot about that.
