Why even bother protecting this fig? He’s a piece of shite. And when and if he gets out, and when and if they put him in witness protection, he’s going to go right back to committing crimes. He’ll be a plague on whatever community they drop him into.

He wasn't murdered by the mob so I guess it worked out pretty well.

His was a strange case. He wasn't in the mob, but he had unbelievable access to, and knowledge of, the inner workings of the Lucchese family. Once people started dropping like flies from the Lufthansa heist and he realized it was time to get while the getting was good, anyone that hadn't been killed was put away forever by his testimony. After 15 or 20 years in witness protection, anyone who was directly involved with him was pretty much dead because he was so much younger than the rest of them (remember that he was a kid at the beginning of Goodfellas and pretty much everyone else already were grown men). By the time he finally left witness protection, the FBI had broken the old guard of the mob and the new generation both didn't give a shite about Henry Hill and didn't have the same zeal for holding grudges that the old guard did.

Henry Hill's situation was definitely not the norm up to that point. In fact, it was his situation that marked the beginning of the end for the old way the mafia operated and its power. In about 1980, Henry Hill was really the first person with intimate, provable knowledge of the criminal workings of a major mob family to roll over on the mob in a big way. In 1991, Sammy Gravano was an underboss with immense power in the mob and rolled over on John Gotti, breaking the Gambino family and, just like that, the old way of the mob was basically dead because nobody could trust anyone to follow omerta and keep their mouth shut anymore. All it took was 11 years to go from the mob that'll kill you if you talk to the underboss destroying the family on the witness stand. It was a pretty shocking fall.

if he was smart, he would do what he could to get those face tats removed, and move to some random place like Montana or something. Im pretyy doggone sure there aint no bloods in Montana. Get some random job, and live out the rest of his days in normalcy free from attention.

Knowing him, he isnt nearly that smart. The dumbass paid money so that he could be apart of a gang, just so he could rep said gang in his songs and be seen as a rapper with street cred.

Hes the very definition of an attention whore, zero chance he could live a lifr without attention.

Did you see the size of his hands? Not sure he could palm a baseball. He might not be able to pick up a basketball with both of those tiny hands!
