I doubt it. A guy like that has not risen through the ranks. The odds are he is CEO of a venture capital backed startup. If so, everything will have been written to favor the VC, and he’ll have “Termination for Cause” provisions that will leave him with nothing.
On the other hand, a lot of those tech startup CEOs are not real CEOs; they are just the guys who have the intellectual property - usually software engineers. If they didn’t have to placate the ego that guy would probably be a CTO, and he’d be unqualified for that. The problem is that the startup would probably be worthless without that IP.

The company is only three years old and has fewer than ten employees. The "CEO" looks a little young for what the articles I can find seem to describe. Sounds to me that the MSM is employing a very broad use of the term, Tech Company. It sounds more like a start up created by a recent computer science graduate who is trying to break into the market.
The story sounds bigger than it really is. I suppose it's being mentioned in the major outlets just to stay on the topic of racism. The Dem's are figuring out that they need to make other racial groups recognize that whitey has oppressed them as well. Gotta try to build another racially organized voting block for the blue team.
