Nothing could markets to crash, wipe out retirement accounts, cause record unemployment and bankruptcies more than disincentivizing investment. The Pelosi, Warners and Feinsteins of Congress would never pass such self-damaging legislation and the rest of Congress wouldn’t risk alienating their biggest campaign contributors.
