Virginia Houston Hinckley, 28, has been on paid leave since the end of 2015 when she was reportedly pregnant with her first child.

She was charged with having sex with one of the boys, a 16-year-old who said he got “flirty” with his English teacher days after the start of a new term.

He and others chatted on how pretty she was and how he “tickled” her.

She ended up giving him her phone number before they swapped texts and nude selfies which included shots of her breasts and “other body parts,” he said.

The teenager told investigators they started kissing and touching when he went to her classroom after lessons finished.

Hinckley suggested they went to a quiet park where they kissed in her SUV before they had oral and unprotected sex on the back seat, he said.

She later texted him: “You better keep your mouth shut about this.”

DNA tests were carried on the car after Hinckley claimed later that she had never had sex with him at Treaty Park, St Augustine, Florida.

She also said she had a “bubbly” personality and that pupils “misconstrued” this was flirtatious after rumours spread about her extra curriculum antics at the city's High School.

Hinckley's arrest papers in November 2015 said she was “engaging in sexual relations” with a total of three schoolboys.

According to the St Augustine High School website, Hinckley teaches ninth-grade English and ninth- and tenth-grade intensive reading.

But she was charged with only one count of unlawful sexual activity with a minor and pleaded no contest when she appeared in court Monday May 8. She will be sentenced at the end of the month.
