It doesn’t make sense to criticize people’s post count when every time someone posts a thread asking how much time people spend here, posters are always so proud of how they spend all day on here

I'm guessing a ton of your posts came in game threads/debate threads/political breaking news threads/etc. (speaking from experience).
Threads started is probably a good way to look at some of this stuff. Posting "frick yes!" and variations thereof 30 times during a game thread or "LOL look at Bernie's face" is something i put in a different category than telling your life story on here every week.

With auzach being banned for 2 1/2 years and about 5k posts deleted my alter racked up 35k. I would be closing in right about now

Reading comprehension not a strong suit of yours? My comment was that I sometimes feel I am posting a lot on here. Sure there are days that I just lurk, but there are also times that I will go days/weeks without visiting the site. Hence, the average posts per day.
