Will Cover slacking...

Now the low-life attorneys are slithering into court wanting their piece of the pie.

The attorney that defended Tarsha wants the estate to pay his fees. But doesn't want to tell anyone what he is charging for in detail because of "attorney-client privilege." Really?

quote:

Attorney Joseph Prokop, who represented Clark-Amar, has billed the estate around $7,200, according to the attorney for Plummer's family, Max Chotto. But Prokop has refused to provide Chotto and Plummer's family with a breakdown of his fees, they told State Judge Don Johnson in court Tuesday.

Prokop defended himself, saying that a detailed breakdown of his work on the case would include private details that are shielded from disclosure because of attorney-client privilege. The judge ordered that Prokop provide a redacted version of his bills to Chotto, and that he also submit an unredacted version for the court to seal.

Meanwhile Jackson, the lawyer who was being paid by SU to provide services for free, wants court costs reimbursed by the estate. The court costs caused by her trying to steal from the estate and the family having to drag her into court. Oh, and the court appointed attorney, he wants a bunch of money too.

quote:

Jackson has also requested that she be reimbursed for the court costs from the succession, which amount to around $1,075. Plummer's family has disputed that Jackson should receive the money.

David Koch, who Johnson appointed to oversee the estate after Clark-Amar withdrew, has provided Chotto with a full breakdown of his costs. His bill for his work on the case has not been made public yet, and he described it during the court hearing as "a very complicated estate matter."

It truly is the gift that keeps on giving.

Has Gravy come out and asked for a fee from the estate too? You know...because equity?

This is why the dozen or so intelligent people left in Baton Rouge shite on North Baton Rouge so hard. This is the absolute criminal bullshite that they blindly elect and support.

Wonder which statute he is relying on..

I just want to see that fat bitch locked away in a jail cell with her corrupt arse mother. They may need two cells, though, because Tarsha will fill a standard two-person cell.

This is a perfect display of both their lust for money as well as their staunch resistance to admitting that they did anything wrong...ever.

It just amazes me that they constantly blow every opportunity to let this thing die because they want money.

So the lawyer that lost is trying to bill the opposing party for his fees? That doesn't even make sense!

Seriously, that fricknut should be disbarred just for the sheer ridiculousness of this.

I'm stunned that Dorothy Jackson still has a law license.

I think we need an OT lawyer who can explain this one. Doesn't it usually work the other way around with the party who wins the lawsuit pursuing legal expenses from the losing side?

The judge better order Grimace to pay her own damn attorney. These "people" have not one ounce of shame in their giant bodies.

My hope/prediction:

Court orders TCA to actually pay her own attorney herself, she doesn't pay, and is then sued by her own attorney for damages.

Then Janice will be "randomly" assigned the case and take 13 years to recuse herself.
