Yes but to England. It just rubs me wrong when people are all “rah rah merica” but celebrate the confederacy. They were traitors to “rah rah merica” so it makes little sense.

Well yeah, we don’t have to continue to demonize them, but I don’t think they should be celebrated. Definitely so for the statues that went up for intimidation purposes during the civil rights movement.

Oh yeah, I’m not saying it’s their argument. I’m just giving my thoughts on it. They’re judging people on the morality of today not the morality of their day. It’s like if 300 years from now we discover that ants are literally God’s angels and label Termanix the 3rd reich.

That region of Texas historically has no confederate ties. North Texas wasn’t exactly slave country. Not sure why they even had them to begin with.

SETX is a different story.
