They overbought the products that were popular in the pandemic era and got stuck with them as the economy softened. That’s a big issue.

This happened while they took a laissez faire attitude towards shoplifting and alienated a lot of their customers by offering what could be considered “groomer” products aimed towards kids.

They are in multiple shite storms, all of which they created by making bad decisions.

Boycotts aren't canceling. . .Do I need to take another lefty to school on this subject?

Quite the opposite, they're using their own $ elsewhere.

Capitalism and freedom; a concept foreign to most lefties I know.

Roseanne = canceled
Target & Bud Light = self-inflicted

Another leftist that is too stupid to understand the difference between cancelling an individual/having them fired from their employment and a boycott

The most powerful democratic tool an individual has is the "dollar vote."

All retail stocks got slammed the last month and a half. Some (TGT, BUD) more than others....

This, Costco and Macy's put out grim projections and Home Depot is showing rough roads ahead for retail as well.

Unless it continues to decline, obviously. Gotta get to the bottom of it, first.

No, you don’t have to time the bottom perfectly, you just need to be below the future highs (with reasonable qualifications for gap to those highs on both amount and time)

Retail is in rough shape. The "criminal justice reform" types have put the expense and burden of shoplifting 100% on retailers. It is hard to find decent new employees.

I don't consider it a boycott. I'm probably not going to go back to Bud Light. It's over. If Target wants to play in the "I'm gonna start going somewhere else" sandbox, step right up.

call me when tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of online conservatives are sharing the personal information of each individual Target manager and trying to absolutely destroy their ability to earn a living for their families in their current or any future potential jobs.

THAT'S cancel culture, not boycotting a brand for doing something we dont like. and the lefties in this country, like the good little Maoists they are, excel at it.
