They're used to not having to explain their arguments beyond a few quips because they only deal with people who are as intellectually lazy as themselves. When they do decide to site evidence it's always from some whackjob "study" from academia that's peer reviewed by other whackjob "prefessors". It's like saying bigfoot is real because you quoted a paper that was peer reviewed by bigfoot experts.

It's pretty funny that you couldn't pick up on the spin o the whole "what does it matter, they have insurance" narrative from the Summer of Love.
When did "lots" of conservative types commit acts of domestic terrorism? I remember months of domestic terrorism, but I'm not certain it was coming from the side that fits this narrative of conservatives committing the acts of terrorism.

This kind of talk has inspired lots of weak, easily influenced people that identify with conservative ideology to perform acts of domestic terrorism over the last few years. And it’s getting worse as the right loses touch with reality

This. What really happened was the tech boom finally gave the far left an avenue to generate great wealth. Traditionally the powers that be who drove things in the US were industrialists, wall st, big agriculture and oil and gas. All middle of the road or conservative in most cases. Tech is run by the left and they’ve used their wealth to start up or buy up massive controlling interests in American corporations and are using that to hold them hostage.
It isn’t access to capital so much as big corporations are scared that these tech backed investment groups that own 4-10% of their stock will dump the stock if they don’t toe the line.
