Wal Mart is nasty. Even the best ones look and feel like a really big dime store.
Target seems to attract a middle class upper middle class suburban clientele, some with kids. They occasionally have some 25-35 year old talent, but you'd be better off in a nicer grocery store or something like a Bed Bath place in a nicer part of town if you want that kind of scenery.

I couch surfed in Rice Village area for about a month after the storm.

Well I have a working vehicle and gas is cheap so I just drive where I want to go out and live in a part of town where minorities get followed until they leave
