She is explaining WHY she didn't immediately go to the police, what her mental process post incident was. She said in her interview she assumed after not going immediately she couldn't.
Any words on the daughter??? The additional domestic abuse alegation against John from another woman???

Yes, it gets worse.
Daughter claiming rape/ongoing abuse from the accused with a positive rape kit showing forced entry on the date alleged where she was with the father, rapist with contracts with the local police department, a judge with a reputation for a corrupt court, additional domestic abuse allegations from another woman toward the accused, lots of BAWS that are bending over backwards to defend the accused's honor and the police incompetence/corruption.
Including a "new" poster here that aggressively went on the defense for the accused, claimed he knew the daughter, made some slanderous claims about the woman, attacked people that disagreed, then when the new info dropped that evicerated that, he scrubbed all his posts and ghosted the thread.

Questions all going one way: doubting the woman, questioning how she might have been dressed /acted, making excuses for the cops//judge/rapist, and no questions or concerns regarding the latest allegations or toward the accused....just more cop excuses and attacking those that questioned you.
In fact I just gave you the opportunity to comment or "question" the new developments about the father's multiple allegations from the daughter/ex lover, but it seems your curiosity has run dry....interesting.

Honestly I don’t give a rats arse about either of them and they both seem trashy AF. He’s certainly seems to meet the definition of rapist per the carnal knowledge of a juvenile statute.
And it’s obviously a contradiction to anyone with a functioning brain which you do not have. She literally said she thought rapes had to be reported the next day and she missed her opportunity, and she didn’t learn until years later that she could still report it. Then she says she waited because of fear of shaming, etc. That’s a direct contradiction.

And thats why this case gets us where we are.
Because we SHOULD have answers, but we don't. And we don't because the police buried the report for 7 years and never even assigned a detective, the judge dismissed positive medical results from the daughters own rape allegations against the father just this month, without stating a reason. A father with additional pending allegations of domestic abuse from another woman, a father that just so happens to have a contract with the local police.
But the guilt on the statutory rape is not in question. The age of the daughter, the father himself, and a DNA test prove he impregnated her at age 30 when she was 16. And we know he knew her age at this point because it wasn't just a random hook up, he went to the bar with his friend, and the mother was with the sister of the accused's friend. Juniors in High School. And they all were drinking heavily.

None of it looks good for the authorities. It takes a lot to outrage me and I'm outraged by the civil results, alone.
The only thing I could ask of law enforcement is, "Are you corrupt in this case because of connections to this guy or are you just grossly incompetent?" Difficult to imagine a third option.

I suspect it's probably a strong combination of both.
And the depressing thing is systemic bureaucratic corruption and incompetence is nearly impossible to combat and counteract.
