I have never felt as if I was taken advantage of despite the almost 8 year age difference. Plus, we had an actual relationship and I was mentally advanced for my age. She was a senior in college and we just hit it off. I matured early so I did look older than my age. The numbers look bad, but it you saw us side by side at the time, nobody would've thought shite. And she was HOT. College tennis player, parents had money, she now has a very good career in Dallas. I could've done worse if I'd have knocked her up. That what my dad was worried about since he was 16 when I was born. This was the early 90's and it wasn't a big scandal. A lot of older guys/men pissed that she would choose a boy over them, but no talks of pedophilia.

Children aren't really mature enough to understand what they're getting in to. It's not just "railing some strange" like one of you said.
Since we see so many of these posts, it's a logical conclusion that a large percentage of these relationships get discovered. Do you think these 14 year old boy's lives are better when everybody in their school finds out what happened?

Exactly, and can create life long relationship issues.
Youre taking a chance that a kid will be one of the few who doesnt keep passing the disease down to future generations. Thats too big a risk to take

Obviously there have to be some rules, but not all people are the same. I related to older girls/women better than those my age. As I got older, my girlfriends were more age appropriate. From 8th grade up, I never had a girlfriend under 17.
