I've talked about it at length on here before so I'll avoid going into detail but I've spent a significant amount of time locked in my head before and it's one of the worst things I've ever experienced. I'm in no hurry to do it again and the thought of it scares the shite out of me, even for an hour.

We had my dad cremated the day after he died. It’s not super fun to imagine him being sentient in any form while being burned.

Doesn't science tells us energy cannot be created or destroyed? Seems like we already knew this. Unless some of yall don't see consciousness as pure energy. But if you want to deny that, then you must also deny all the electrical equipment at hospitals that can detect our faint electrical frequencies, like the EKG machines and CAT scans, etc. Also hammer head sharks are known to have a ton of sensors on their flat head that allows them to detect the electrical field of their prey, even when hiding under the sand.

We are balls of energy stuck inside 1’s & 0’s. Buddhist have known this around 2500 years give or take. Buddhist more or less believe this is a simulation with the goal being learning to play it like Billy Mitchell does Donkey Kong

I read a study not too long ago where they hooked up to monitor the brains of people they they knew were going to die. I think it was five folks in total.

Three of the folks lost electrical activity immediately. Two of the people on the other hand showed electrical activity for somewhere around 10 minutes I think.

Did a quick search and found the link.

My buddy's bookie died suddenly on a Sunday night owing over $3k. My buddy went to the viewing with a hat pin and stabbed his bookie with it in the casket. I wonder if the bookie got any vibes from that ??

Well tigerbtn08, what do you have to say now?

quote:

As Dr. Parnia tells the Independent, death is scientifically defined by the heart no longer beating and blood flow being cut off from the brain. “Technically, that's how you get the time of death – it's all based on the moment when the heart stops,”

Stop reading right there. This is 100% just a guess.

Dr. Yellerhammer5 says that Dr. Parnia is wrong, and he wouldly gladly say so again in a courtroom.

Yep. It takes a few days for your soul to fully disengage. That’s why you don’t want to be embalmed or cremated until the 4 th day, at the earliest.

Ever body knows this.

Is this why black folks have funerals like 2 weeks later than white folks?

Mindblown.

Here's the actual link:
LINK

(Bustle.com is not exactly a hard scientific source.)
Per the abtract:
Out of 140 in the study people who experienced cardiac arrest "2% described awareness with explicit recall of ‘seeing’ and ‘hearing’ actual events related to their resuscitation. One had a verifiable period of conscious awareness during which time cerebral function was not expected."

Also good to keep in mind that lots of people have cardiac arrest who don't die. I know several.

The OP is misleading. Taking anecdotal, non-scientific evidence to support religion.
(I have nothing against religion. just poor reasoning and ideology masked as "science")

This is the comic book/movie definition of the word "energy", not the actual scientific definition.
