they are just so mad. They are ineffectual nothings with no chance or desire to better their lives so they externalize their hatred towards inanimate objects. The other half are pussy college kids from Ohio who feel like they have to be on the "right" side of history.

What is "trigger proof".
I'm not "rebel flag guy" but this pisses me off. NOLA is a fricking time capsule. Especially The Quarter. Tearing things down is like digging up a real time capsule and burning it because the way people thought 100 years ago is no longer normal.
Gonna take down the monument or mention of every American historical figure who owned a slave? Jefferson? Washington?
Why don't they bulldoze the new smithsonian African American center? I can't think of one damned thing more offensive than a pair of shackles on display?
The entire FQ is a historical landmark. Or it should be. Let's bulldoze the whole fricking thing and make it a strip center and outdoor mall. Because every significant structure had slaves in it at one point.
A frickING PIRATE owned the oldest bar there. A real life PIRATE. Think he did some unsavory shite? fricker probably plundered a few slave ships.
What's next? Bulldoze The Alamo? It demonizes Mexicans.
It's the fricking French Quarter. Lighten the frick up. Drink a fricking beer. Have a Beignet.
