Tailgate Spots & Parking @ Dome ?

I'm pretty familiar with NOLA but I know the area around the Dome has changed a ton in the last couple years. The place that I normally park is now condos so I'm looking for info on parking but also looking for a good place to pregame. I don't want to do the walkons/happy thing.
Somebody mention to me that the NOLA Brew Bus people were doing a big LSU tailgate with beer, food, some DJ Tanktop person, and most importantly bathrooms. This sounds like what I'm looking for but don't know much about it. Any suggestions appreciated.

This reminds me of my trip to New Orleans for New Years 2000/2001. Got to the hotel and it was one of those low garages and attendant told me My vehicle wouldn't fit. I asked where I should park. Attendant said, it depends, do you care if your vehicle gets broken into? If not, the lot across the street will be fine....

The place where you used to park that is now condos has a large public parking garage. Entrance is on O'Keefe street. Just park there.

The development in the CBD, specifically the South Market District has displaced many long-time Saints tailgaters over the past 6-7 years. But it is what it is, there are still some fun corporate tailgates in parking lots if you have a connection to get in.
If you just want to hang with a few friends a drink outside before the game there are still a number of surface lots that will work, just won't be a lot of RVs or big tailgates.
Another easy option to pregame is to take the streetcar downtown, buy a few slices of pizza and 12 pack of cold beer from Rouses.

The last area left that is easy to tailgate just on a first come basis is under the crescent city connection over pass area.
There are a lot of bars in the CBD and Warehouse District to pregame.
The good free street parking that I sometime use is around the hospitals across Poydras
