1) i don’t believe that TAF is telling you to sue them
2) TAF can cancel tickets and issue refunds

TAF wouldn’t just tell you to get bent if they gave away your tickets

Also, it appears that OP has stopped answering questions so I'm not sure where this is at or where it's going.

Somehow, my stepdad used the name overlap to trick the ticket office into releasing my dad’s account/tickets to him.
Sounds like an ID theft and maybe case of forgery.

Unfortunately, they are terrible and are taking full advantage of this mistake & even has something to do with tricking LSU to make this happen
It wasn't a "mistake". Your stepfather committed fraud.
Report this incident to the police.

Why don't you simply demand that your step father fix the issue?

on a side note...............
I won tickets to the ULM (from Aaron Dietrich's show) last week.
I found out from a message I read at 4pm. The message was pick them up before 3pm.
but we went anyway and got chairback seats for $80.
then it stormed and we left
then ULM won and we watched on tv.

Tell them all you're going to sue for attorney fees, emotional damage, and all that other shite. It should work. I saw something like this on Law and Order once.

Sue step-dad for theft.
Hell, report him for criminal theft charges to the DA. That's felony grade theft, and at least identity theft, a felony.

Damn your step dad is a thief

they had checked the account details — address, phone number, even the stored credit card — it was obviously my dad’s, not his.
Either way I wouldn’t call a lawyer. I’d call the sheriff. This is identity theft. File charges and I bet they get a touch more reasonable.

Right. This is grand theft if true.
