Is this where I give my opinion because I played call of duty everyday for the past three years in my parents basement.

im just fricking with you man. thank you for your service

Exactly. These guys were engaged when they arrived, quickly exited and returned fire while rounds were striking all around them. Again, wait for the little details to immerge before you comment or opine. Much like the AS shooting, EVERYTHING has not been released. There are full and complete videos of all of these things.

I'm on point of discussion.

If a Lapua round was used, part of this thug was turned into a red mist. The round leaves the fire control group on an average of various rounds at around 3300ft per second delivering around 5000 ft lbs on target.
Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition.

I assure you that you don't know what you are talking about. Forensic evidence exists which reflects that he actively engaged the swat guys when they fired upon him.

I'm not upset, this is the OT. I save my angst for Mainieri threads. It's all good

Has anyone said that the shooter specifically targeted the sniper?? I've seen that thrown around here but haven't seen it verified by anyone else

bullshite....
Most of the hunters I know still get the shakes when eyeing up a trophy buck through a scope... It's an adrenaline rush that I would guess compares slightly to what this (trained) officer was feeling
I AM NOT SAYING IT'S THE SAME but adrenaline is adrenaline IMO

He did his job well and I think everyone commends him on his skill.
This man stopped an animal from killing other people.
This sniper needs to get back to training along with the others and sharpen their skills in case we have more of this in the future.
We need to give each officer the best assets and the best training so they can go into a swat situation on the fly. You use to be able to back off and wait for swat. Yesterday it showed us they can go from a routine call into a swat situation in seconds.

Breh, absolutely no disrespect to the officer. But GT23 is a former Marine infantryman who fought in the battle for Fallujah. I think he speaks with a degree of experience in regards to the difficulty of that shot while under stress.
