You don't want to be cycling a bolt while someone is shooting at you

They said he was walking to his car when he was shot.

Well yes, but even if I pissed averageness I could make a 100 yard shot with an M4

Well then it's too bad you weren't the one to end the murder spree. But don't worry guy. I'm sure someday you'll get your moment and people will praise your marksmanship abilities too. Until then, just keep making a fool of yourself on the OT about it. I bet you can do more pushups than the BRPD sniper too!

Why the frick wouldnt i pull out a rifle that make the chance of me popping his head like a pimple that much higher??

And its about 5 or 6 inches longer than an m4. Big arse bolt gun, really?

If I'm going to an active shooter situation with multiple cops already down and reports of a suspect with a rifle, I'm not grabbing a bolt gun. I'm going for max rounds downrange. I'm sure most SWAT guys would do the same.

I'm talking about gmkr saying he'd grab a bolt gun over an M4 for a 100 yard firefight

Yeah, F that. In a situation like that, you have to assume your weapon will be 75% defensive and 25% offensive. A bolt rifle with a max 10 round mag doesn't fit the job description.

Are these like pull-ups, but for women?

People. I know GT23 personally and can vouch for his military training. I believe what he's saying. I own a non military grade AR adn could make a clean shot on a perp with just my reflex shot from 100 yards. I do practice shoot courses with mine from time to time though.
He goes through training like I haven't so I'm going to side with him on this one as far as ballistics go.

I just pray for him. I know all too well how having to kill someone can weigh on a man's mind. No matter that the killer totally deserved it and it is was good that he is gone.

He is no likely devastated by all of this and so I pray for him. I pray that he is not troubled by it at all but in reality i know he is likely a very good man. He is likely a man who wanted to protect and serve and didn't join swat just so he could kill people.

I pray he can sleep in peace and not have nightmares from all of it. Like i said, i know firsthand about the PTSD a man goes thru when he has to kill another, even when that kill is totally justified.

So I just pray for him and for him to be at total peace with what happened. He is a hero and saved lives but I am know that heroes are human and have feelings too. They are not just cold blooded killers who gloat over what they do. They are men with feelings and emotions and who want to do good in the world.

So down-vote me you atheist because I am praying for him.I will still respect your right to feel that way but I will be praying just the same.

I would like to see some of y'all make this shot while having to drag balls the size of iron watermelons around with an active shooter in the area.

Are iron watermelons the same size as regular watermelons?
