This rain is relentless and it doesn’t look to be letting up for another couple of hours. This wasn’t expected.

That Special Marine Warning is the south-end of this moisture fetch/convergence into BR. Looks like parts of BR might be one of the winning regions for a foot plus of rain.

Absolutely. They're like severe thunderstorm warnings but a lower wind threshold to call it. LIX issues a shitload of them a year.

Weatherman suggested these are going to line out before getting to DFW which the radar kinda shows now. Are they still going to be packing a punch though like they are now??
