Sadly, no. I have never seen so many cars flooded. Water was clearly over the Ryan St exit from i10 based on debris. We knew coming back we needed to be a little late based on the timing and the water wasn't so bad when we got in. Then I look at facebook...

Lightening struck two huge pine trees in my neighbors yard 13 days ago. Ground was saturated and the strike traveled through my AT&T box and my Direct TV antenna and destroyed everything connected to them in my home. TV's, Play station, DVD players, Home surveillance system, and last, my home computer and all attachments. All chords and wires. I had surge protectors but they couldn't handle the voltage. Besides the voltage went backwards into them. 2000 deductible. We are still finding things damaged. Respect the power of nature. All of my Direct TV boxes and Splitter outside were fried. My AT&T tower was blown to pcs. in my computer room. We are finally getting close to replacing things. Some things our electrician will have to fix.
