Looks like I can put her up in the spare bedroom if she needs protection. I don't believe the wife will approve though.

Absolutely ridiculous to fire someone without going through the proper procedures which would include interviewing or statements from witnesses. My understanding is this happened at the nursing station or otherwise with multiple people nurses around

The bolded part would be the biggest reason the doc should have been canned.

That’s fair. I was waiting on more details because it seemed like her story was missing some important details.
Did she post about it first and then get fired or get fired and post about it?
