BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Authorities are seeking suspects involved in a shooting in the Iberville Terrace Subdivision after a resident was shot multiple times.

East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office says a resident in the 1500 block of Rue Desiree St. in the Iberville Terrace Subdivision, located between Highland and Perkins Roads, was shot three times around 5 a.m. on Sunday.

Deputies say the wife of the victim called authorities saying someone was breaking into her vehicle. When her husband went outside to confront them, he was shot in the arm.

The victim received non-life threatening injuries, according to reports.

According to authorities, two black males were seen fleeing the scene towards Perkins Rd. after the shooting.

This shooting is still under investigation

I can't imagine why anybody would care. There's so many other larger problems good people are dealing with right now.

You're right. Perhaps I'll attract the attention of bad people. Thanks for pointing that out.

Donald Trump has really divided this country, particularly with the black against black crimes.

That happened near Highland and Perkins road. PLENTY of people are going care about this. This wasn't a daily shooting at Mohican and Prescott.

I've already reached out to my councilman. Time to put the heat on our government to start making our streets safe again.

These criminals have evaded any sort of consequence for their actions for so long, they have become embolden to use firearms on victims instead of running away. That should concern everybody.

While the mayors and our other leaders worry about how we are going to pay for the Tram, the zoo, a downtown library, the buses, and all the other items they stick on the ballot, law and order has dwindled as both our PD and Sheriff's Dept. has become undermanned.

Then we see judges campaigning actively for the criminal vote. That takes the cake!

Izzy is a racist. Everything is black-and-white to him. He can't see life without labeling it black or white.
