Surveillance video help

Had a yeti stolen out from under my buddy's garage, I have the surveillance footage of it being taken, but you cannot read the license plate, police were no help once i told them you can't read the license plate. Is there somewhere I could take it that would be able to work their magic to be able to read the license plate?

Probably not. People watch CSI and think the video can be manipulated so you can see stuff it didn't capture and such. Had a guy that was talking about getting an image "reversed" so he could see what was on the other side of an object in the video. It doesn't work like that.

TV =/= real life
You can't turn crap quality into good quality magically

Yes you can. It happened in the middle of the day, the car turns down the street so the license plate is in view, and then lets his little frat punk POS friend out in a driveway down the street, and the kid walks back towards the house with his buddy following behind (a newer mercedes), gets the yeti and puts it in the back of the car and drives off.
The surveillance video is from the house directly across the street from where it was stolen.

This is why all the cameras and DVR at my house are 1080P. You can't get good pictures out of shite video no matter what you do to it.
Go buy another $500 ice chest and some better cameras.

If the guys look like they are in high school, send the video to the high schools in the area and see if staff will ID them.
