The victim told officers Wilson came into her home at about 5 a.m. without her permission and woke her up "looking for someone and acting strange," and then started yelling at her and throwing things around her apartment. He eventually told her to call in sick from work. After she did that, the affidavit says Wilson put a blanket on a bed and gave her two options: either let him tie her up and put her in the blanket, or exit her apartment willingly. She chose the latter option, and the two went to his home on Mountain Wood Drive. Once there, the affidavit says Wilson then started "torturing her physically and mentally. He suffocated her with pillows, blankets and her hands. He tried to rip her jaws apart at one point, choked her, and threw her down the stairs repeatedly." The affidavit says he explained how he would try to carry out her death, and speculated on where he would take her body. At one point, the affidavit says he pulled out a knife and cut an upside-down cross on his chest, and then held the knife to her throat. A little later, the woman managed to escape his home and ran to a next-door neighbor's house, where she banged on the door. No one answered. The affidavit says Wilson ran out of his home, naked, then grabbed her and took her back inside. It was at that point the affidavit says Wilson urinated on the woman, then made her take off all of her clothes and made her sit on the floor, wet with his urine. The affidavit says Wilson later passed out from drinking, and the woman was able to escape and call 911, six hours after her ordeal began.
