Today is the last day to sign up. Just wanted to check prices, but we think we will go to a agent this year.
That whole shite has been the biggest mess ever. The road to hell is paved with good intentions indeed.
Force you to have insurance, then make it super expensive and hard as hell to get.

to be fair, those who waited until the very last day shouldn't be too surprised.

Y'all ease up on ole Nap. He's given out tons of good, free advice on here.
Spelling is not one of his strong suits.

I think the penalty is something like $700 per adult and $375ish per child up to like $2100, but it will rise annually for inflation (though apparently inflation is slower than the rise of healthcare costs).

if they are paying that a month then their penalty would be a shitton higher. I think now the penalties are right on par with the premiums
oh ok it made no sense that the penalty wouldn't be equivalent to the premiums.

I know a guy (complete idiot) that doesn't carry insurance on his daughter or himself and pays the penalty. I guess the child is on medicaid or whatever its called just like the mom is.

its $690 or something like that I believe.

You mean Our Lady of the Lake in BR? Since BR closed it's only real charity hospital a couple years ago.
