I don't normally believe in stuff, but had a couple things happen with others there to witness, which is the only reason I think there is something else that we can communicate with from time to time:

1) Not scary but more creepy, but my wife and I were visiting my parents one night who lived by some forest. We took a walk at night to walk my dog, and about 30 feet from the street lamp at the end of the road, our dog stops and starts growling. We look and see a 2-ft tall humanoid figure standing under it looking at us at the end of the road and then it disappears into the night.

2a) After my mom had passed from cancer the night before, I was at my parents house watching my toddler nephew while my sister was out making funeral arrangement with my dad. We're in the living room watching tv, and both my parent's dog and me hear someone walking (more like sliding their feet), out of my parents bedroom down the hallway towards us. The dog also jumps up on the couch to see who it is, but no one is there.

Later that same day, my nephew is in the kitchen and I hear him talking to someone. I go over and just hear him say "byebye grandma, I love you". No one had told him what had happened.

2b. Then for like a week straight after my mom had passed, my siblings all reported wild footsteps, banging, and stompings in their house at night time, and which all stopped after about a week.

During the same time, our middle schooler was home alone after school one day when I came home from work and there was a cop at our house. He had heard footsteps and doors opening and closing in our place and had called the police, but no one was there. My sister also had a son around the same age and he reported similar--he had come home from school and they had a rocking couch in the room which was rocking back and forth by itself.

I distinctly remember seeing a ghost when I was like 4. Was sleeping on the couch and remember the moonlight falling through the windows and seeing a ghostly figure that the moonlight seemed to pass through.

My grandmother commented on seeing an angel at our house soon after she started living with us

My mother had a very odd encounter. Don’t remember exactly what the story is but she was visiting a friend whose mother had just died. Something happened where someone’s purse seemed to be thrown across the room and everyone got freaked out and left

I was at Emroy University Hospital downtown. I asked who she was and she replied "Sister Mary

At that time, Atlanta did not have a hospital, but that would soon change with the bold vision of one man and the determination of four women who founded Atlanta Hospital (now Emory Saint Joseph’s). William Gross, the Catholic bishop of Savannah saw the need to create a hospital to serve the growing population of Atlanta, so at his request, four Sisters of Mercy traveled to the city in 1879.

Sisters Mary Cecilia Carroll, Mary Helena Sheehan, Mary Borgia Thomas and Mary Berchmans Young left their convent in Savannah with only 50 cents capital among them, but they also possessed the skills and experience to continue the mission of their Order, serving the poor and vulnerable with compassionate care.

Sister Mary Cecilia had been appointed by her superior in Savannah as the first administrator (CEO) of this new endeavor. She had many years of experience leading the former U.S. Marine Hospital (now Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah) during a yellow-fever epidemic.

I will go on record and state that I do not think there is anything supernatural in the world....but I also am fully aware that there is far more about our world that we do not know than that which we do know. We are not far removed from our most primitive ancestors and may be arguably less knowledgeable than they were. Even just 3-4 generations ago people could tell you more about their immediate surroundings than most of us can do today. When your survival depends on your sense of direction, ability to read the weather and find shite to eat knowing how to find the square root of 13 is kind of unimportant.....

I knew someone once who said small children can see and talk to things, their minds are open. She’d seen it happen. I don’t discount that bc once we are older some of us don’t believe and our brain closes to it.

sleep paralysis should be an entirely different topic.

Strange phenomenon that we all experience a demon of some sort when in sleep paralysis. Its scary as hell when it happens.

Same. Whatever we saw had a whitish glow.

That’s been the only “haunt” I’ve ever experienced. I’ve camped solo, stayed at numerous “haunted” hotels, including one in Savannah last summer. Nothing out of the normal.

I had a very vivid visitation dream from my father in law shortly after he died. In the dream the entire extended family was on vacation and my father in law appeared and was with us, stated he missed great food in restaurants and missed eating. He took my mother in law's hand (she was still living at the time) and sat on a bench at the end of a pier by the ocean. We started to follow him, and he very clearly communicated that we could not come with them.

She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer shortly thereafter and died 6 weeks later.

As long as I live I think he was trying to tell me that she was going to be joining him soon.

Summer of 2021 I had just moved into a rent house in Tuscaloosa for a one year job with the university. My wife, who was girlfriend at the time, had helped me unload the uhual truck late that night after a full day on the road. We managed to get the mattress and sheets out and set it up on the floor, ordered pizza, and opened some beers. No sooner than that, we both heard distinctly from outside the house “hello” plain as day and we both looked at each. I got up and went look outside, sure enough nothing.

Fast forward several months, nothing had happened but we both had eery feelings and felt like someone was in the house. Can’t really explain it. I got up to use the bathroom down the hall from our bedroom and saw a blurry figure standing down the hall. It was just a white little blob. I thought I was dreaming, still half asleep, went pee and went back to bed. I couldn’t fall asleep that night lol. I never told my wife about that night. But a couple weeks later we were eating dinner and heard a strange noise in the hallway. She then told me that a couple weeks ago she saw a little girl in an all white dress standing in the exact same spot in the hallway where I saw the blob. I told her my story and then we both said we never told each other bc we never believed what we had seen. I had 3 more months at that job at that point and I kept getting weird feelings. Never saw anything else. But felt a presence in there for sure.

I had a supernatural experience at a filling station in Fort Deposit, AL in 2014. The place was locked, fully lit, and unmanned except for a single black cat, which I witnessed teleport.

A lot of people just tune me out about 10-12 words into that story. So if you're still here... thanks :)

One time a ghost kept me up half the night singing 99 bottles of beer on the wall. He wouldn’t stop until I agreed to help him communicate with his still living girlfriend.

All I know is what I see, and I have not seen any angels, demons, ghosts or other haunts, aliens or anything else like that, nor have I ever seen a Biblical type miracle, so I don't really believe in any of it.

Though that does leave open the possibility that I'm dead and don't know it, or likewise that I'm actually the demon or alien, though I rather doubt it.
