The NFL is bad sports fueled by gambling. Without gambling and fantasy football, the NFL would be a ratings bottom-feeder.

The Super Bowl is just a mess of pop-culture idiocy. It's hardly a game, anymore.

The NFL has been by far the most watched thing on TV for decades.

Nothing like watching people drive in loops for 3 hours only only for the same people to win every time because they have the most money behind them.

Nah man, not these days. It’s much more competitive now after the budget caps. Last year’s drivers and manufacturers titles were down to the wire and it’s going to be even more competitive this year.

F1 is an American sport now. Catch up.

So many commercials and so much stoppage to show those commercials. It’s humiliating.

That how the world moves advertising and sponsorships.

With success of yesterday’s parade, I wonder if some of the rules against sponsorship and advertising could be loosened for Mardi Gras parades and allow more specialized throws of company advertising and maybe Popeyes can bring back their special Doubloon where you buy a 3 piece get a 2 piece free.

It might save a few krewes loosing membership to have something like a Popeyes float or one of the Ambulance chasing attorneys throwing promotional items like magnets, chip clips, koozies, plastic ashtrays, frisbees, bags, etc.

I guess as long as they don’t start throwing old explicit mix tapes, dog food, toilet paper, tampons, etc. as some Houma krewes got in trouble for in the past. Now I would allow dog food or dog treats if the krewe had an Alpo sponsored float. Same if Charmin sponsored a a float to throw toilet paper.

Fun facts I heard about wild guys of the Krewe of Hercules to Kick off Mardi Gras on the 21st. They will have over 40 floats this year and former Saint Rich Mauti will serve as Grand Marshal. At forty floats that puts them as the second highest membership krewe in the state.

Maybe for the My Lai massacre and the Kardashians

You’re not even taking into account that Tay Tay is going to be in attendance

Lemme tell you what I did

Quit giving a shite about any of it. This is America, and it's totally within your power to spend zero seconds of your life thinking about any sports.

This. I now don’t even think about it. It was a transition. Eventually just moved on. Today, I watch the occasional LSU game (baseball/football in that order). This describes most of us in my professional circle…we’ve moved on. Some, like myself, still own season tickets that we just sell.

Count me in as not watching anymore. NFL is a woke joke and the Super Bowl is worse. Go ahead and watch countless ads and subpar entertainers. Down vote away.

Yeah man, I found the real one in this thread. Just shocked how many of TD posters are woke, Nancy boys. To each their own.

Plus this shite halftime performances. Kill me.

No one is forcing you to watch.
