We should make a spinoff thread of how embarrassing it is that you still have cable.

Yet it still seems important enough to you to make a thread about it.

Nah man, not these days. It’s much more competitive now after the budget caps. Last year’s drivers and manufacturers titles were down to the wire and it’s going to be even more competitive this year.

F1 is an American sport now. Catch up.
Who won the vast majority of races? Who won both titles for the however many years in a row now?

The second best team being slightly closer to the best team while most still have no chance doesn't move the needle.

2 races in the USA and zero competitive American drivers/teams =/= an American sport.

Haven’t since Jackson flashed her tit with some help from Timberlake. It wasn’t an accident.

That incident was a turning point for me too. Definitely not an accident and two decent artists reduced to sleazy stunts and choreography.

I think many of the melts, rants, posts etc are because most of us miss the Super Bowl including the non-game aspects that were so much better 20 plus years ago and, admit it or not, are somewhat sad today.

Doesn't even feel like the same event. Morphed into something unrecognizable to me and I just have no interest. My kids and their friends all in their early 20s have very little interest either. My son is a huge sports nut, and he chose to work today instead of watching the game. I was surprised by that. So, it is not just us older people who are over it. And yes, I know there will be millions who do watch it. The hype machine does work on many plus there is nothing else on today. The NFL makes sure of that.

Crazy that your post has downvotes when everything you wrote is correct.

That's as American as you can get.

3 races. Nah, there was a healthy mix of driver wins, especially in the second half of the season. Do you need me to look that up for you?

But not as competitive as Indy car, but f1 is more of an engineer’s sport.

They should do some sort of scientific study on you. Why does the SB mean so much to you? Do you even care about the teams involved?

I agree.

I never said it did. I'll watch it because it is the championship game of the highest level of my favorite sport to watch on TV.

Not particularly, but I expect a good game. In a vacuum, I like the Chiefs more than the Eagles (I'm a Cowboys fan) but slightly prefer the Eagles tonight due to Chiefs fatigue.

If it were Buffalo versus the Redskins, I’d be interested and I would watch it.

But these two teams are just fricking boring. I have no interest in it.

It’s so damn predictable. Throughout the game, the refs are going favor the Chiefs and penalize anyone who breaths on Mahomes. however, there won’t be anything outlandish. Then at the end of the game, there’s going to be a crucial play, and the referees are going to frick it up big time in favor of the Chiefs and the Chiefs will win.

All the cameras will then be focused on Taylor fricking Swift.

Rinse, lather, repeat.
