Only “negative” is the explosive growth and worsening traffic. Though given that I’m a transplant, I can’t really complain about others doing what I did. In my department of 30 people, there are 2 that grew up in Charlotte.

I was at sirprise 60th Birthday Party for a friend on the 18th and one of the ladies brought a homemade boudin king cake...it was the best thing on the table.

It is a pretty cool town. My wife went to the Medical University there. And we had friends that live there and visited quite a few times.
