Depends on the position and company, nice jeans/slacks, button down and BB Sports coat with some sweet shoes or boots is very acceptable these days.
Wearing church jeans and boots is cheesy af
Take those out and sure, I'll agree with you.

The nicest jeans I have are some darker Levi's

It's an expression. Nice jeans means your pair of church jeans in baw speak. Not the acid wash with grease stains.

Excuse my ignorance, but what is this?
I’m guessing manager positions?

I actually have a few nice pair of jeans that don’t really fit and the rest are some Levi’s.
I usually just wear some slack/jean type of pants from Jean Therapy that my wife bought for me.

We care more about the person passing an algorithm, white board test, in which my team is interviewing, rather than how they’re dressed. My company does not have a dress code.

“Nice jeans” is one of my favorite phrases I’ve learned from the OT

Are those the ones with glitter on the back pockets?
Posted on 8/13/19 at 10:31 pm to tgrbaitn08
It’s not glitter a-hole
It’s stitching and a few rhinestones

Yeah, like a glittery pattern across the back pockets.
Bonus points if it's a cross or Fleur de lis

It’s funny to see the guys that you know don’t wear suits very often show up to a cocktail party or function in an oversized suit when everyone else is dressed in business casual attire
That’s who you people remind me of
I wear suits 2-3 times a week, though? And they are properly fitted.

My wife taught me what the difference between nice jeans, work jeans and play jeans were.

I only care that you aren’t going to take down a thousand VMs because you don't know what you are doing. I don't really care what you are wearing unless you look homeless

Depends on the week, but some combination of work/meetings, events, and Eucharistic minister at Mass.

You wear sneakers to work?
Nope but the guy asking for advice on his outfit says he does.
If it’s that casual going suit for 3 days might be over the top. As I previously mentioned it might also be a good chance for him to up his game a little just day to day moving forward. Go a half step up On his attire daily from here on out at work and throw in a jacket for the upper level interview might be the sweet spot.

I like to cut slits in each seam to give my Justins some breathing room
