Suggestion for dryer repair in Prairieville?

Still working, but maybe taking a bit longer to dry.
It's running louder than normal, and it sounds like the motor revs/pulses for a couple seconds every 30 seconds or so. Doesn't sound like a belt or roller.
Never messed around with a dryer and don't have the time, so I'm gonna pass on the DIY.

Dude my kids could replace a dryer heating element in 10 minutes. It's about like replacing an air filter in a vehicle except you have to remove and replace about 5 screws.

it's not heating element/thermal fuse. Bearings bro. You can get a kit for about 40 bucks. Considering the age of the machine I would just put it at the road and head over to Stanton's scratch and dent on Choctaw. Tell em' Maynard sent you.

No expert here, but it doesn't sound like a bearing or belt. It's more of a pulsating hum that is louder than normal but gets even louder for a second or two every minute or so.

Figured a repairman could diagnose easily enough and might even take it away for a few bucks to get it out of my hair if not worth fixing,

Ok, in a whirlpool where you just take off the back panel. In a frigidaire you have to restring it.
Also modern clear door dryers aren't easy. You have to remove 26 screws in the samsung and 30 on the lg units.

Some.people do a job and assume every job is like that, but it rarely is.
A frigidaire restring generally isn't a diy.
