Not a frigidare, unless it's a stack unit.

What's wrong with it? If it's minor you can probably do it yourself and if it's major it's not going to be worth repairing. Just buy a new one.

Thanks, Napoleon.
Motor looks to be over $120...easy enough for someone with mediocre handyman skills to swap out?
Or better to just get a new one since this one is 13+ yrs old?

Honestly probably new. If it's not the motor, you are in a lot of money. A new dryer is $300 and likely you will need a bearing and heating element within two to three years.

At it's age just spend three or four hundred on a new one. My preference isn't to get one that is all fancy. My mother had a Samsung that had boards go out on it that were $300 a piece. My Kenmore cost $350 and is easy to repair if cost effective. It might be a little louder but I imagine I'll get the same 10 years out of it my mother got from her pricey Samsung

10 years on a Whirlpool Vertical Modular Washer?
Good luck.
The new whirlpools/Kenmore washers are crap.

Just fixed my Kenmore dryer. The guy at Ideal said you can find the approx. age online. Mine was built around '89. Part was 6$.
I wouldn't mess with bearing or motors, just too much.
