Boomers had it so hard
They graduated highschool and worked at the local supermarket to pay their way through college.
They then graduated instantly got a job and brought a home at 23 for 50k in a great neighborhood newly built. Got married and had 3 kids.
They stayed with the same company for 30 years and seen their wages triple over that time, are near retirement with a booming 401k, their home is now valued at a half a million, and their SS are fully funded with a million saved over time.
Meanwhile these lazy kids graduate college has to take out loans to afford college and graduate with a 100k in debt.
They have an engineering degree after getting their master and struggle to find a job as the market is bare.
They finally get hired but make 40k a year but the average rent price is $1200 monthly and car note is $300 and insurance is $250.
They are now 30 can’t afford to have kids and still can’t afford to live alone as 60k in their position doesn’t get you as far anymore.
They need a roommate to afford basic necessities and now the average home price is 350k at a 6% interest rate. They dreamed of owning a home seems impossible.
But the later is the lazy weak man who just complains.

Bruh, I’m saying the boomers are right.
Tipping is OOC.

so many get worthless degrees or don't even finish college and start off with a ton of debt while living at home with their parents.

I mean, isn't this the common practice when someone else pays for the meal that the other parties leave the tip?
He paid for his but not ours. We paid for ours, our tip, and his tip because he always finds an excuse not to tip.

But that Raul guy told me that boomers are all rich and rolling in dough!

A verifiably untrue trope constantly spouted by the uneducated

Worthless degrees?
A person with an engineering, business, polo sci, marketing degree struggle to find jobs now. Those aren’t worthless degrees. The only people with degrees who don’t struggle finding well paying jobs are people who work in medicine.

My kids graduated college with an accounting degree and an engineering degree and zero debt.

You think poly sci is a valuable degree?
I am beginning to see your problem.

It was old people that graduated with useless liberal arts degrees…..Still got a good job with them though

No surprise. They are the GREEDIEST generation ever.
So keeping what’s yours is greed. But demanding what others have isn’t?
Aren’t you a well little trained socialist.

This thread is hilarious because it’s boomer complaining how lazy this generation is with the same old debunked tropes. Then bragging about how they don’t tip and tough shite your grand kids struggle.
The most worthless generation to exist
First you were fake hippies to avoid going to war
Then you sent your nations wealth and manufacturing to China so you could have cheap TVs
After you bought a home and sued and protested so that no one else could build new homes to raise your property value.

Knowing how to think and write is probably the most valuable skill a person can acquire.
How we’ve tried to turn college into job training is a terrible idea. Kids coming out of school with stem degrees have really strong theoretical technical knowledge, but when the facts in practice don’t fit exactly how they were taught out of their textbooks, they don’t know their arse from first base, and they have no decision making skills.
