That's what's up

quote:

“I’ve been bullied my entire life,” Todd said. He would wear the same clothes every day and students at the school would mock him for it. “I really don’t have clothes at home. My mom can’t buy clothes for me because I’m growing too fast,” Todd explained.

People are going to complain because someone recorded this for attention, but it doesn't matter, this is awesome.

attention
needs to be brought to light at any given chance.

Article says one of the guys, a football player actually partook in laughing at the kid. Maybe the football coach found out and made him do this. Really don't care. Hop it appears on the surface here is really all that matters to me.

The kid with the monster backpack needs to be bullied into pulling his pants up.

it's ingrained culture. If my kid got caught sagging pants at school would be suspended for dress code violation.

But anyway.

This is a cool gesture at a school named MLK Prep for a scrawny white boy by some good hearted african american kids . You know it's already rough enough on that kid since i'm sure he's probably 1% of the population.

That kid didn’t know how to react.

I bet his life at home isn’t enviable in the slightest.

Good on these follows

This is great. I hired a guy straight off of 18 year prison term. He was going to reconcile with his family after all that time. Took him to Dillard’s and bought him two pairs of nice slacks, two shirts ,shoes, belt and socks. His gratitude was endless. He cried. New clothes do a person good.

Any national media shown this?

They don’t usually like when races get along.

Damn. That is awesome. I was worried the kid would be embarrassed by the whole thing but he really just seemed very appreciative and happy to make new friends. Those army green NB's are pretty cool too.

It's nice to break up all the depressing 911 stuff with this.

I agree and I disagree. Yes, you should do good for others without needing it broadcast. BUT, at the same time, there is so much negativity floating around, it’s nice to have attention given to someone trying to do good.

Oh, so they were part of the bullying this kid went through the first couple weeks of school and decided to seek out attention by do something to hide their previous bullying attempts and film it for social media.

Really nice gesture from Graham, Garrett, and the rest of the MLK prep football team

He admitted that he was part of the problem. Then he gave an apology and tried to help him. I mean, does he not get credit for trying to do right?

this is awesome... despite all the "bad" that gets reported on 24/7, there is still a lot of "good" in this world

Like I said, their football coach might have got wind of what they participated in and this was their attempt to right their wrong.

Or they actually had a guilty conscience. Who knows?? Don't care either way. Made the kid happy and now i'm sure that kid feels protected at that school by the football team.

I'll never forget my highschool days. We had a white student with severe tourettes syndrome named Michael. He would blurt out the n word like nobody else but he couldn't help it.

Football team made him the team captain. They would all follow him around Cortana mall to protect him.
