I think the canal underpass in Lakeview may be flooded. Saw a bunch of cars turning around when I was coming home

I just came from Metairie. There was traffic on I-10 so I thought I'd be smart and head down Metarie Road. Terrible decision.

HOLY shite THAT WATER WAS HIGH. I was creeping along the entire stretch from Bonnabel to I-10. Some businesses along there definitely took on water. Saw a few inches of water sloshing outside the door of one business

I think its probably from the rain there buddy

I'm a couple thousand miles away, and didn't know it was raining. I've just seen a lot of decaying infrastructure during my time there.

I'm pretty much fricked for lunch. Everyone with a truck here brought lunch. Looks like I'm stuck to river road.

Just drove most of west esplanade. It was fine. Canals are definitely higher. The street I live in is probably filling up because it holds water like a bitch.

I swear there are idiots on the interstate though. It isn't raining so hard that you need to go 30 mph. If you are that afraid to drive in the rain, call a cab.
