Stray dogs in Moscow use subways for transportation

I have to admit, this is pretty freaking cool. These dogs are smart. Some of them ride the subway into the city center in the day and ride the subway back to the suburbs at night.

lots of beautiful German Shepherds in Santiago, Chile like that, they don't bother anyone, you don't see dog crap everywhere, they know how to interpret pedestrian traffic lights, it's cool to watch them move around the city, it's like they are running errands or commuting to and from work

When I worked in Moscow I learned that Russian dogs are smarter than American dogs because all of their dogs could understand Russian.

They’re descendants of the genetically modified super German Shepherds smuggled to South America by Hitler after WWII.

I disagree with this. I love dogs too but really look oddly at people that consider their dogs to be their kids.

This made me think of the Clint Eastwood movie Firefox, where he had to think in Russian to fly the fighter jet.
