Yeah for all the wishcasting about Delta, power, etc. weren't out for that long. That is the one advantage of having everything destroyed and replaced a year ago. You'll have to have another Laura-level storm to cause real mayhem and chaos on a massive level

So 4 models are showing the same track just different in intensity.

The furthest I may go is to stay with some family in DeRidder. Not really far but they are at least an hour more inland than I am currently

DeRidder got slammed last year or 2 years ago. Time is too fast lately to be sure.

I can go west to my family or east to the fiance's family. Probably would go east.

Last year Laura slammed DeRidder but Laura was a rare storm. Rita slammed DeRidder too but only because they hadn't dealt with a major storm for a few decades prior to Rita so tons of old roofs and out of hand landscape.

Looks like a damn good mid level circulation is taking shape little above 14 North and 76 West

Most recent Euro shows just west of Vermillion Bay. LC spared the worst wind. GFS pretty similar except for intensity. I don’t like seeing them both agree here as a Lafayette Parish resident. If the next run or two stays consistent Rob Perillo might blow a wad in his pants.

Has someone made the change to the bingo card where SFP now mentions his fiancé instead of his girlfriend?

I'm in LC and a White Lake landfall is a little too close for comfort. I would head west for that one. TX/La line projection and I'm going east. Up the ship channel again: who knows.

Laura really helped us out up here in Tim McGraw Country for the blizzard last February. Laura gave us a major tree clearing out and only left the strong ones. So when we got all that ice build up there weren’t many downed trees and power outages. Delta also wasn’t very bad a month after Laura despite the winds being pretty strong.

yep, i either go dallas or nola but i will have to be back next day to get wife setup so might not leave at all. prolly wont. No trees to fall on house, no way to flood, have whole home generator etc. No reason to leave for 1 day unless its cat 5 and after laura, still not sure i would do that.

Wasn't Laura Shreveport's first-ever hurricane hit? They are usually a TS by the time they get there
