My friends are staying in MC .. really worried about them.
They're crazy. They should be in a vehicle heading out of there right now. They will regret that decision when they're stuck in MC with no power and no water and no way to get fuel for no telling how long.

A lot of my clientele is in MC/Lockport and the surrounding areas, called them today to see what their plan was. Majority are closing up shop but riding it out. Pretty worried about them

This has gone from let's drink a bit tonight and decide in the morning to "Ah shite, this isn't good." real quick.

Is MC Morgan city or mid city?

TWC just said you can't rule out a cat 5 at this point. They sound concerned

I mean it just keeps getting stronger at a absurd pace. I wouldn’t be shocked if it happened

Haven't made the call yet. Not scared of the winds, but 2 kids, one coming off of rona, and no power for a couple weeks is going to suck.

Martin Folde's dumb arse telling people live on air that the system has "moved, not just jogged" west. He's insinuating, not outright saying, that it's going to change the track. Now I get it, Terrebonne could possibly be saved by jogs west, but you might have people that were about to leave but now won't because of him saying that. He's using the stick to say it moved west.

So that little shite Hurricane Barry pushed the Atchafalaya River to within 6 inches of it's flood of record (1973) here in Morgan City. This may top it if it gets west of us.
That being said, the levee and floodwall protect to like twice that height.

Houma through Morgan City is about to be dealt a big shite sammich.
