I think every hurricane has to have at least one model take it right up the mouth of the Mississippi River no matter where it is

News 4 Jax just said Palm Coast is out of gas. Everywhere. Evacuations highly likely for Vilano, PV, Jax Bch, and all barrier islands.
Customers in Palm Coast yelling and fighting over place in line at gas station. I'm taking my gun.

A little bit weaker, but tracked much closer to the FL coast now. Gonna ride the coast all the way up, which is going to impact the most people.

It seems the folks in Florida are doing a good job. Just like here. Not their first rodeo.

Sure. You can share with Bisou.

not moving for one or two satellite frames is not the same as "stalling"
and I don't see anything on satellite that could even be construed as a stall in the slightest. Just consistent northern motion with the eye eroding due to land effects.

Hurricane watch now goes up to Flagler County. I expect St. Johns and Duval counties to get a watch by morning.

Meh...
Or give it more time to sit over warm, open water.
It also seems that the slower the storms go, the more erratic they get. I think everyone wants Matt to gain speed and get it over with already.
