Ordered these dress shoes off of a website....when I got them today they were from a China. Opened them and they smell like a tire shop. Like a strong chemical/rubber smell. Who else has made this mistake, and how did you get rid of of the smell besides just trashing them?

My personal assistant orders my shoes from Italy. You should do the same, peasant.

Imagine having to work in that sweatshop and having to breath the chemicals in 24/7.

How about you tell us the brand so we can avoid your misfortune.

That's just it they literally have no branding at all that is kinda what drew me to them....the name of the company on the shipping label was written in Chinese.

I bought them off a website called "Wish"

Just play it safe and go with Cole Haan or Allen Edmonds next time.

They always add extra screws, nuts or bolts to "easy to assemble" products. Then they sit around and laugh and frolic about how much extra they added.

That is their version of happy hour at the factory.

I had a pair of walking shoes that after a month of use, developed a smell that would choke a skunk. Did everything I could think of to get rid of the smell and ended up tossing them.

That's what you get for being poor and buying Chinese knock offs.
