I recently had my house painted. (subtle brag)
The doors are now a little hard to open because they stick. Is there anything I can do to alleviate this?

Some elbow grease will get them open.

Your painter should have used the special paint that Sherwin Williams makes specifically for painting doors and frames that prevents them from sticking. I used it on my back door and had no sticking.

Let the paint dry?

Seriously, did they remove the weatherstripping before they painted? If not, take that off and let the paint dry.

They must have just added another layer of paint and didn't sand anything first (Doors and jambs).

Basically meaning they altered the opening ever so slightly and will cause the doors to feel like they are sticking, but it is more like a wedge and doesn't allow it to open smoothly.

You should probably just go ahead and buy new doors.

They did not remove the weatherstripping.
I may try that. Thanks for the idea.

Have you ever considered being a landlord? You seem like a good candidate
