Broome is saying that the life of a convicted criminal with a gun, threatening and trying to kill police officers, is more valuable than the lives of 2 LEO's. She has laid down the foundation, LEO's lives don't matter. That's what the city of BR will now have to deal with. I suspect the patriots are not going to take this lying down...
The city is lost already. The same patriots you are referring to elected the current mayor. Way to let your grasp on your own city slip through your fingers.

JBE is staying neutral in this news conference.

Why would anyone in their right mind want to be a police officer in Baton Rouge? The mayoor hates you.

"We owe it, in the memory of Alton Sterling..." Incredible that she is knighting for the guy with the long rap sheet who was shot while resisting arrest with a firearm in his pocket, and after the DOJ just announced UNANIMOUS agreement that the police officers did not act in a manner unreasonable or willfully negligent.
Unreal.
Unreal.

we need to change how we treat each other.

Can we just let the sign language guy run BR? He has to be more qualified than these 2.

this is the kind of talk that got those officers shot this summer.
Yep. And I'll be surprised if something doesn't happen again. It's pretty horrible rhetoric, and sends a clear message from the leader of the city. No matter what, LEO cannot harm anyone. For any reason. Period. If they do, LEO will be shunned, even when their own government investigates and finds their actions reasonable.
The question is, will the normal, law abiding, hardworking citizens just turn their head and accept this? Or will they push back? The next few weeks will tell a lot. But it's clear, governor and mayor have chosen sides with the criminals, and against the law abiding citizens and their protectors.

What did JBE say?
We wanted the USDOJ to have this case because we wanted to make sure it was done professionally and thoroughly.

His son seems to have a good head on his shoulders, and seems to be being raised right.

Wrong. I think you are confused with who I am referring to as patriots. The Sterling family supporters are the ones that got her elected. The patriots were simply outnumbered.
